Halka Housing gathers 48 apartments around a single shared garden. Every entrance faces the garden; parking and services move underground so the ground is given entirely to people.
The facade nods to Istanbul's timber housing tradition with vertical battens. Balconies deepen on the inner face of the ring and quieten on the outer face.
Sustainability works without spectacle — natural ventilation, greywater recovery and shading arcades are quiet parts of daily comfort.
