A making workshop gathered around a courtyard and run on daylight.
Studio 7 brings design and making under one roof. The plan turns around a central courtyard; noisy and quiet work are separated by that void.
A sawtooth roof pulls north light in across the day; artificial lighting is barely needed during working hours.
Raw concrete, galvanised steel and OSB are left honestly exposed. Like the objects it produces, the building hides nothing of how it is made.
